AIMS to Showcase New Products at the 4th Annual Southern
Automation Manufacturing Conference (SAMC) 2002 in Greenville,
SC April 8-10, 2002
(Durham, NC - September 11, 2001) Advanced Integrated Manufacturing
Solutions, Co. (AIMS) is participating in the Society of
Automation Engineers (SAE) sponsored 4th Annual Southern
Automated Manufacturing Conference (SAMC) and Exposition
at the Palmetto International Exposition Center in Greenville,
South Carolina during April 8-10, 2002. BMW Manufacturing
Corp., an AIMS client, is proud to host this fourth annual
event.
BMW is a subsidiary of BMW AG in Munich, Germany. In addition
to the South Carolina manufacturing facility, BMW's North
American subsidiaries include sales, marketing and financial
services operations in the United States, Canada and throughout
Latin America; an information technology consulting and
systems integration firm in South Carolina; a production
facility in Mexico; and a design firm in California. For
additional information on BMW, please visit their Web site

The southern automotive corridor is one of the largest
and fastest growing automotive manufacturing sites in the
nation. SAE's SAMC was established so that OEM's, suppliers,
vendors, academia and government would have a forum in which
they could network with their peers, discuss current and
future technologies and associated challenges, and share
process improvements and solutions to manufacturing problems.
The conference will be comprised of in-depth technical sessions,
professional development seminars, and opportunities to
network and exchange ideas with industry experts and peers.
This year's theme "You Have Questions - We Supply
the Solutions" was developed directly from feedback
received from leaders in the automotive manufacturing arena.
The conference will focus on workforce development/partnerships,
lean manufacturing/6 Sigma, supply chain management, emerging
innovative technologies and manufacturing infrastructure.
To register to attend SAMC 2002, please visit the show's
